RGU ART AND HERITAGE COLLECTIONS ARE PLEASED TO WELCOME THE BIENNIAL EXHIBITION BY GRAMPIAN GUILD OF WEAVERS, SPINNERS AND DYERS.
The Grampian Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers (GGWSD) was founded in 1980 by a small group of women interested in learning and promoting the crafts of weaving, spinning and dyeing.
Once every two years they present their latest work to the public, and Art and Heritage Collections RGU are pleased to host the exhibition in 2015. All the exhibits are hand made in Aberdeenshire

As part of the recent ‘Look Again’ festival which was held in the city, a cross-section of RGU purchase award winning work is now on display in KALEIDOSCOPE in the Aberdeen City venue ‘Seventeen’ on Belmont Street. This is the first time a body of University Collection work representing contemporary art and design practice has been exhibited outwith the University campus. Although the highly successful ‘Look Again’ festival is now over for this year, a large variety of graduates work will remain available to view until April 25th. Please visit the show to see the interesting and intriguing Fine Art and Design by Gray’s School of Art graduates.
